Today, I’d like you to meet Jace’s wife, Simone. She’s a second grade teacher and also the youth pastor’s wife of a growing church in the community. They have been married for over a decade and have four children. She’s organized, responsible, and, by default, has to wear many hats, no matter how tired she becomes. When she lets herself relax, after all her chores are done and everything’s ready for the next day, she enjoys the ice cream runs as much as the rest of her family. Simone’s favorite ice cream is butter pecan, a little sophisticated, rich and creamy, just like her.
While Simone fell in love with Jace’s fun-loving side, after ten years of marriage, is she wishing he would choose to step up and take some of the weight off her shoulders?
