Do you feel forgotten?

Do you feel forgotten? Did 2020 change your life drastically? Were you on one path and suddenly find yourself on another – relationally, with your job, or physically?

Let me be the one to encourage you today. God gave me the verse, Romans 8:28 (paraphrased) sometime in the summer of 2020 and He still has that as my verse for this season in my life: He works all things together for good to those who love him and are called according to his purpose. All things. For good. To those who are called according to his purpose.

Are you His daughter? His son? Then you’ve been called according to His purpose. Do you love Him? Then He’s working all things together for good. Not some things. Not when He gets around to it. All things together for good to those who love him and are called according to his purpose.

Another verse that I simply love is Ephesians 3:21-22 (NIV), “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

Let that verse sink in for a minute. “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

You may feel as though you’ve gone backwards this past year and all your plans fell through the drain.

Maybe your plans did. But God’s didn’t. If you’re His child, He’s still at work. Have you invited Him into your life? All of your life? If yes, then wait for His still small voice and the next command He has for you. If not, what are you waiting for? We have a God, the God, who is waiting to “work all things together for good,” the God who is “able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” Those are some pretty strong promises. And He means every word.

If you would like to become His child, pray this simple prayer from your heart and let me be the first to say, “Welcome to the family!”

“O Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ name. I believe You died on the cross, and that You rose again, and You’re seated on the throne. Jesus, forgive me for all that I’ve done wrong and I choose to forgive all others. Come into my life, today and forever, I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen”

You aren’t forgotten. God loves you. He’s still working. Invite Him into your life as it is today, and then step back and watch and see what great plans He has in store for you!
