This year in particular, I think largely in part because of the opportunity to slow down this year, I am looking forward to celebrating a whole month of being thankful, grateful, and blessed. God is the One who gets the credit for the blessings, big and small, that we experience every year, and this year I’m more excited than ever to name them, remember them, and savor them.
What about you? Have you thought about taking the whole month of November, or better yet 365 days a year, to thank God for at least one blessing in your life?

At one time when I was working, a supervisor wanted to raise moral. She asked us to list three things we were grateful for daily. I filled continued to do that daily for a year. After I became disabled, it was harder to be grateful. I had to start with small things. I try to be grateful for at least one thing everyday.
That’s so wonderful, Debra. I find when I find even one thing to be grateful for, it helps change my mood. Great job for keeping it up for a whole year – I think we can all agree you’ve turned it into a wonderful habit (another thing to be thankful for!) Blessings and thanks for sharing with us!
